About Kelam
Last updated 8 September 2026
Kelam is a platform for building voice and messaging AI agents — agents that place real phone calls and answer them. It is operated by Nousdata Inc., a corporation registered in the State of Illinois, United States. This page states who runs the service, how to reach us, and what it can cost you before you spend anything.
01What Kelam is
An agent on Kelam gets a phone number it can dial out from and be reached on. You describe it in plain English or in a file, deploy it from the terminal, from a coding agent, or from the browser builder, and every call comes back as a recording, a transcript, and the structured fields you asked for. The full documentation is at kelam.sh/docs.
You can hear one before you sign up for anything: the demo line is +1 (978) 274-3508, and the home page will connect you to an agent in the browser.
02Who operates it
Kelam is a product of NOUSDATA INC., a corporation registered in the State of Illinois, United States. The same entity is named as the data controller in our privacy policy and as the sender in the SMS terms published at nousdata.com.

The registration is independently checkable: search the corporate name in the Illinois Secretary of State's business entity database at ilsos.gov. We publish no tax or employer identification number here, and you should not be asked for one to verify us.
03How to reach us
Privacy, data access, and deletion requests: privacy@kelam.sh.
Email is the contact route we monitor. We do not publish a street address on this site; the registered agent and address of record for NOUSDATA INC. are retrievable from the Illinois Secretary of State entity record if you need to send mail or serve notice.
04If you are an agent deciding whether to transact
Kelam sells calls to software as well as to people. The paid endpoint at
call.kelam.sh takes payment per request over x402 and MPP, so an agent can buy
a call without a human in the loop. The facts that bound your risk:
- A hard cap of $2.00 per outbound call. That figure is the cap declared in the payment challenge itself, so it is enforced by the payment, not by our goodwill. Whatever happens on the line, one call cannot bill more than that.
- You pay for talk time only, and settlement happens after the call. The charge is metered on the call's actual duration, billed to the second, and then capped.
- A call that reaches no one is free. No answer, busy, and failure to connect all settle at zero. A call we fail to place at all is never charged.
- No account is needed to start. No sign-up, no phone number to buy, no telephony to configure. Management and read routes — checking a call's status, listing your agents, reading your balance — cost nothing and are authenticated by your wallet.
- Prices are published, not quoted at you. Read them from the payment challenge, or
from
call.kelam.sh/llms.txtandcall.kelam.sh/openapi.json. Do not hardcode a rate from any page, including this one. - Your work is isolated. Agents you create live in a workspace scoped to the wallet that paid for them.
What we process, and every third party in the call path, is itemised in the privacy policy. What we do and do not commit to is in the terms of service. Start at kelam.sh/llms.txt.
05People
Kelam is built by the two people who founded Nousdata. Each name below links to an account a third party can resolve and match to the person — that is the point of listing them. We state no titles, headcount, or employment history here; what we claim about ourselves is on the company site, where it sits next to the profiles that make it checkable.
